Band Overview E-mail

One of the really unique things about Abaltat software is our range of virtual bands. These are a combination of instruments and performance styles that allow the user to instruct not only the composition of the piece of music but also the type of musician and instrument required.

Abaltat Band

Currently we have seven Bands bundled FREE with Abaltat Muse 2.0 and Abaltat Express 2.0.  We will be releasing new Bands on an on-going basis.

Atmospheric

Roll over Mr Moog. This is an ideal keyboards band. It is modeled on the atmospheric sound created by a two keyboards and a bass and drums combo. Both keyboard players can switch through a range of well known synth sounds from Native Instruments Absynth and FM7.

Atmospheric comes bundled free with Abaltat Muse and with Abaltat Express for a limited period.

Ensemble

A group of four musicians playing a subtle combination of classical orchestral instruments, but with a twist! The selection of instruments to fit with the mood of the picture sequence, as always, is the editor’s choice.

Hip-Hop (classic)

Hip Hop (Classic) is a throwback to the late 80's featuring heavy drum and bass tracks intertwined with hits and stabs on one melody line and chord progressions on the other.

Minimalist (Electronic)

Inspired by the music of minimalist composers such as Philip Glass, Minimalist (Electronic) uses a sound canvas of electronica and synth pads, giving it a contemporary, dark, moody feel.

Inspired by the music of minimalist composers, Minimalist (Orchestral) features a rhythmical, interweaving, slowly evolving composition on acoustic orchestral instruments.
